Terms of Use for EAT JAPAN! Website

These Terms of Use (hereinafter “the Terms”) set forth the conditions for use of the official website of EAT JAPAN! (hereinafter “the Site”), operated by the EAT JAPAN! Executive Committee (hereinafter “the Organizer”).
Users of the Site (hereinafter “Users”) are required to read the entire Terms carefully and agree to them before using the Site.

Article 1 (Application)
1.These Terms shall apply to all relationships between the Organizer and Users in connection with the use of the Site.
2.By using the Site, Users shall be deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Intellectual Property Rights)
1.Copyrights, trademarks, and all other intellectual property rights relating to the texts, images, logos, photographs, videos, and other information (hereinafter “Content”) on the Site belong to the Organizer or third parties who have granted rights of use to the Organizer.
2.Users may not reproduce, transmit, modify, repost, or otherwise use Content beyond the scope of personal use permitted by law without prior consent of the Organizer.
3.Linking to the Site is generally permitted; however, direct linking to image files or displaying the Site using inline frames is prohibited. Links from websites that damage the Organizer’s credibility or violate public order and morals may be refused.

Article 3 (Prohibited Acts)
Users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the Site, nor in any acts deemed by the Organizer to fall under the following:
1.Acts in violation of laws or public order and morals
2.Acts related to criminal conduct
3.Acts that infringe the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, honor, or other rights or interests of the Organizer, other Users, or third parties
4.Acts that place an excessive burden on the Site’s networks or systems
5.Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Site
6.Unauthorized access to, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to, the Organizer’s networks or systems
7.Commercial use of information obtained through the Site without the Organizer’s permission
8.Defaming or slandering the Organizer, exhibitors, or the event itself
9.Submitting false information or inappropriate content (harassment, obstruction of business, etc.) through the inquiry form
10.Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Organizer

Article 4 (Disclaimers)
1.While the Organizer makes every effort to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the information on the Site (such as event dates, venue, exhibitors, and products), the Organizer does not guarantee such accuracy. Information is subject to change or cancellation without notice due to weather, crop conditions, or other circumstances.
2.The Organizer may temporarily suspend or discontinue the Site without prior notice to Users for reasons including system maintenance, failures, fire, power outage, natural disasters, or other operational reasons.
3.The Organizer assumes no responsibility for the contents of third-party websites linked from the Site, nor for any damages arising from their use.
4.The Organizer shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users arising from use of the Site, changes to information, or suspension/discontinuation of the Site.

Article 5 (Amendments to the Terms)
The Organizer may amend these Terms at any time without prior notice to Users if deemed necessary. Amended Terms take effect once posted on the Site, and Users who continue to use the Site thereafter shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 6 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
1.The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
2.In the event of disputes arising in relation to these Terms, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
